Erhan Restaurant

Definitely the best place to eat if you’re in this part of the city. The food is amazing, really good quality and nicely balanced. The staff’s politeness and on point service is the best I’ve experienced in Istanbul. Since it’s a family run restaurant, you really see and feel how they are trying around every guest. I came a few times during my stay and each time they also give you some appetizers on the house to try. P.S. it’s on the first floor (you have to take some 5/6 steps on the side to access their terrace) so don’t mistake them for the restaurant on the ground floor!

My husband and I ate at Erhan Restaurant 4 times during our stay in Istanbul. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The welcoming staff added to the lovely experience we had. We tried various dishes including pasta, stew, kebap and clay pot - all of which was very flavourful. The restaurant is located on the second floor so you have to take the stairs up (it is NOT the one on the ground floor). Highly recommend this wonderful family run restaurant!

THE BEST RESTAURANT!!!!! Please make this place a Michelin!!! We ate here every night for 6 nights during our stay in Istanbul and coming here was always the best part of our day! The owners, Farhad and Muzlam, are the most amazing gentlemen and hosts who truly know how to make everyone feel welcomed and at home. We felt like we were part of the family! The food is always on point and delicious, we tried everything on the menu and loved it all (especially Muzlam’s famous Ayran and Joja Jola). They make your time there fun and memorable with great lively conversation - time always flew and before we knew it, it would be 1am! They keep their restaurant clean and neat, which shows how much respect they have not only for themselves and their business, but for their patrons. Our last night eating here was bittersweet - we were excited to come back home but sad we were leaving behind great friends that we shared laughs and broke bread with. Gives us another reason to come back to Istanbul!! Muzlam and Farhad, thank you so so much for such an amazing experience and for your hospitality and we hope to see you again! Cheers! This is a very nice Turkish restaurant, where you can eat amazing Adana kebap or Iskender kebap, which are 2 incredible Turkish recipes that I highly recommend. It’s not an instagramable place, if that’s what you are looking for, but it’s an excellent place to eat great food. The service is very nice and caring and you will feel very comfortable at Erhan Restaurant. If you are on the lookout for an amazing Turkish cuisine experience, this is your place. Teşekkürler!!! ❤️
